Over 300 activities carried out by RT groups
BAU: Neighbourhood Watch (RT) groups across Sarawak carried out over 300 activities from Aug 1 to Sept 16, in conjunction with National Day Month.
National Unity and Integration Department Sarawak director Dirwana Azool said programmes such as ‘ Sayangi Malaysiaku’ ( Love my Malaysia) was a great way of instilling love for the country and fostering closer relationship amongst all communities.

A variety of stalls as well as booths for donating blood and health screenings were set up at the event, which also saw the staging of a high-powered motorcycle exhibition.
Competitions were also held along with a lucky draw where 10 winners walked home with prizes.
Kuching Resident Ismail Mohamad Hanis, Bau District Officer Anielia Siam, National Unity and Integration Department Kuching Division officer Abdul Rasid Mahsin, Kampung Jugan RT and JPKRT Bau and Lundu Zone chairman Ponisa Nyunyam were among those present at the closing ceremony.
