150 attend product conference organised by Innovest Engineering & Co
KUCHING: About 150 delegates from various industries attended a one- day product conference to obtain insights and knowledge on ways to increase their efficiency and productivity.
Organised by Innovest Engineering & Co, the conference held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching ( BCCK) saw speakers from Kobelco Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Festo and Wika of Germany; and Region Supplies which represented Mitutoyo Corporation of Japan.
“This event is about you and how we can work together as your partner to educate and create awareness in this changing time,” said Innovest Engineering & Co director David Hong in his welcoming address yesterday.
With the theme ‘ Improve Productivity and Efficiency in Industrial and Process Automation’, Hong added that there are three things that need to be considered - which is to reduce manpower, reduce wastage and reduce downtime.
“We also aim to achieve three things - which is high productivity, increase in performance and product quality,” said Hong, adding that the conference is in line with the local industry to be a part of Industrial Revolution 4.0.
Innovest Engineering & Co, he said, is not about selling a product or services but to provide a solution to the needs of the industry by working together with suppliers to achieve their goal.
He added that their goal in 2019 is to fully equip a 4S service centre to cater to the growing customer needs for Sales, Service, Spare Parts and Support Centre.
According to him, their goal is also to understand the needs and expectations of their clients, to make things simple and not complicated; and become a trusted partner in expertise and experience.
“I hope this event is meaningful to you and with the support of our dedicated and experienced supplier behind you, I am sure we can bring much change to you and your organisation,” he added.
Among the delegates at the conference were those from oil and gas, semi conductive, palm oil, food and beverage, steel, packaging and other industries.
Innovest Engineering & Co was established in 1989 specialising in engineering equipment and later automation supply in 2014 through its subsidiary company Ennovest Precision Sdn Bhd which deals in instrumentation, process valve, precision tools and hydraulic systems.
