WAK: Junior Art Market returns this Saturday
KUCHING: The Junior Art Market is back with a third installment called ‘Memories Of The Future’ this Saturday between 10am to 5pm at Sunnydale 1928 Café off Rock Road.
Jointly organised by Small Town Art Market and Sunnydale 1928 Café, nine young entrepreneurs and 28 local homegrown brands will be featured.
Newcomers will include fiveflavoured Iguana’s Icicles by 10year- old Jotham Chan, pom pom products from Have You Pom Pom by 10-year- old Emeline, lovely succulents and terrarium by My Green Buddy, home based baker by Beelicious, textile printing by Menur, nail spa by Queen’s Nail Beauty Studio, homemade baby products by Home, crystal and henna by Sugarlock, Japanese rose and paper goods by Keagan and Kaeden, health and beauty products by Soulistics Garden, and science learning by Kiddo Science.
Other participating vendors will be Flint and Steel Borneo, Nia Latif, Blank, Elaine x Art, Happy Stitches, Bloomerjoy, Breadsman, Chloe’s Magical Slime, Unixorne, Alit, KojiBands, and Elly Loe Collection.
The kid-friendly day promises great activities and performances in singing, music and dancing by children aged 12 and below led by JayC from Kuching Youth Jam.
There will be talent shows by AG Melody, a local music academy, interactive story telling sessions with Soo Sian, magic show by The Equatorials, dance performance by Joel Chan and friends, The Cup Song performance by Hayden, and live music by Sabreena.
There are workshops such as sape by Shape, exhibition and walk in workshop by Little Makers Co, water colour by The February Art, embroidery by Nurrul Zawiyah, 3D printing and Kokedama by K.L. Chan Design, and paper flower pen by Happy Petals.
