Miri FM Futsal competition calling for entries

MIRI: Entries are still open for the Miri FM Futsal Carnival competition, which will be held on Oct 13-14 in conjunction with Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) 72nd anniversary.

The tournament is divided into men’s and women’s categories and is open to all teams in Sarawak.

Its spokesperson Mahathir Morshidi said the organiser is targeting 60 men’s and 15 women’s teams for the competition.

The tournament is joint ly organised by Miri FM Kingsport Miri, Fox Sports & Figos 2018 and will be held at the Kingsport Miri Futsal Court.

The entry fee for the men’s category is RM200 and RM120 for the women’s category.

The closing date is on Oct 5 while ballot draws will be held on Oct 10 at Miri RTM Broadcasting Building.

Men’s champions will receive RM1,200, while first and second runners up will bring home RM750 and RM500 each.

Third runner- up meanwhile will received RM250, and fifth to eighth place teams will receive hamper.

In the women’s category, champions wi l l take home RM800, while first, second and third runners-up will get RM600, RM400 and RM200 respectively.

Winners wi l l also receive trophies and other gifts.
