How anxious Anita Yuen keeps flirtatious women away from hubby Julian Cheung

-

HONG KONG: When she was a beauty queen, actress Anita Yuen was the one who had to ask Julian Cheung out.

Right now, she’s fighting hard to keep flirtatious women away from him.

They have been married for 17 years, and in the showbiz world of easy- come- easy- go unions, their marriage is seen as relatively stable. Their son Morton is 11.

During an interview on ViuTV, Anita was sporting enough to disclose how she keeps “predatory” women at bay.

She relies on a network of pals to keep an eye on him.

It’s almost like Julian is constantly on CCTV.

Disclosed a mischievouslooking Anita: “I have a lot of spies. It’s not me who ask them to report back to me; I just know a lot of people. Everyone will call me and let me know they’re working with Chilam (Julian). I just tell them to help me take care of him. That’s it.”

Moreover, she also shows up on filmmaking sets to do routine “audits”.

Added Anita: “I will not be like a security guard watching him. I just need him to know that I’m here – so watch it.”

She has even gone to the extent of checking the messages on his phone. That annoyed Julian.

Said Anita: “He told me he doesn’t want it to be like this. He thinks it’s meaningless because it means I don’t trust him.” On how she dissuades flirtatious men, Anita said: “If I feel that a person might have feelings for me, I will clearly tell them to avoid them from developing any false hope. Actually my husband is also worried about me. He always calls to ask where I am.”
