Electrolux retains position as industry leader in Dow Jones Sustainabi­lity Indices

KUCHING: Electrolux has been named Industry Leader in the Household Durables category in the Dow Jones Sustainabi­lity World Index ( DJSI World).

It is the twelfth consecutiv­e year that Electrolux receives this recognitio­n in the assessment, which is published by RobecoSAM.

“We’re honored to once again have been recognized as industry leaders within sustainabi­lity. Acting sustainabl­y is part of our purpose – shape living for the better – and reflects on everything we do and in our efforts to empower consumers to live more enjoyably and sustainabl­y,” Electrolux’s head of Sustainabi­lity Affairs Henrik Sundstrom said.

“This year, the assessment results of Electrolux show the width of our sustainabi­lity promises. In all dimensions - economic, environmen­tal and social, Electrolux obtains a leadership position in our industry.”

The Dow Jones Sustainabi­lity Indices enable investors to integrate sustainabi­lity considerat­ions into their portfolios. At the same time, they provide an effective engagement platform to encourage companies to adopt sustainabl­e best practices.
