LOOKING AT PROS AND CONS: Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (left) speaks during his panel session at the Bloomberg Global Business Forum which was part of his five-day working visit to London earlier this week. The Prime Minister said Malaysia is still looking at the pros and cons of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and has yet to make any final decision on the trade pact. The CPTPP is a renegotiated trade deal borne out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement ( TPP) after the US pulled out from the TPP. SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE: Representatives from Petronas, Saudi Aramco and PRefChem at an event to mark the arrival of the first crude oil cargo at Pengerang Deepwater Terminal 2 (PDT2) on Tuesday. Pengerang Refining and Petrochemical (PRefChem) achieved a significant milestone in the construction of its refinery at the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC), with the arrival of the first crude oil cargo at PDT2 here, marking its transition into commissioning phase for start-up.
