KUCHING: Cleanse your ‘auditory palate’ with Arzuk, a Kuala Lumpur-based deejay and producer who will be performing at the final weekend of What About Kuching ( WAK) 2018.

The show is set take place at the Old Courthouse here this Oct 27, with the party kicking off at 11pm and rolling into the wee hours of 2am.

Ticket price person.

This collaboration between Nowhere (NWHR) with WAK aims to shake the very foundations of the music scene in the city.

A don from the house and techno scene, Arzuk has has over 10 years of experience in mixing music and producing for international labels such as Lapus Music and Natura Viva – to name a few.

His versatility allows him to adapt to various ranges of genre, but the Malaysian has a taste for locality.

The historical location of the event will give NWHR the creative space it needs, enabling the collective to put on a fantastic display of visuals, sound and atmosphere.

Making its debut early this year with a string of events such as Haiwire, Redlight and NWHR@ Blackbox, NWHR has made a name for itself pioneering the slow is RM15 per but ever- growing underground electronic music scene in Kuching.

Collaborations with the gold standard festival organisations such as the Rainforest Fringe Festival and Rainforest World Music Festival only hint how the small collective would have bigger and better things to bring to this otherwise ‘sleepy city’.

The collective embraces the true spirit of dance with its range of electronic music pop-ups around town and DIY ethics.

Resident deejays Hadiid ( Rudi Ibrahim) with over 10 years of experience and Wû ( Tristan Breteche-Lo) – touted as the ‘humble bedroom deejay’ – string together a range of tracks and beats to elevate the mind, body and soul to the outer reaches of the imagination.

The combination of lights, sound and the constant beat of low-sound frequencies on display during their parties leave locals and tourists in constant motion – they want more as their events run into the early hours of the next day.
