Naim hosts storytelling, traditional games workshop today
KUCHING: Naim Bintulu Paragon is hosting storytelling and traditional games workshop at Naim ‘The Peak’ Condominium at Bintulu today.
Organised by The Ark Reading Room, one of Naim Bintulu Paragon Street Mall’s tenants, the traditional games workshop at Naim Street Mall will start from 9am to 12pm while the storytelling session is scheduled from 2.30pm to 4pm at The Ark Reading Room for children between five to nine years old.
Naim’s regional general manager for Bintulu, Abang Mahathir Mohamed invites parents to bring their children to the events.
“This is the first time we are hosting such an interesting and educational event which helps to develop children’s social skills while exposing them to games which we played when we were kids,” he said.
He added those attending the events are welcomed to visit Naim ‘ The Peak’s’ show units.

“More and more modern day parents are also relying on mobile devices to keep their children busy and fail to set screen time guidelines, which may lead to various behavioural problems. In fact, the American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP) has released a study that stated excessive exposure to TV, computers, and mobile devices will have adverse effects on the child’s cognitive and language development,” said Hong.
