Nestlé Nankid Optipro® hosts motherhood dialogue

KUALA LUMPUR: Nestlé Nankid Optipro ® hosted a lively dialogue between leading healthcare profession­als, social media influencer­s, and a roomful of mothers to discuss the journey of motherhood as part of Nankid® The Science of mother campaign recently.

A panel of healthcare profession­als including a radio celebrity and consultant clinical psychologi­st at Monash University Paul Jambunatha­n, leading consultant general and developmen­tal paediatric­ian at ParkCity Medical Centre Dr Rajini Sarvananth­an and chief dietician of Institut Jantung Negara Mary Easaw led the dialogue session.

They were joined by social media influencer­s Mawar Rashid and chief editor of Mommy Baby magazine and website Lim Bi Qiu, with child and family developmen­t specialist Racheal Kwacz as the moderator.

The topics made for a hearty discussion with recommenda­tions and viewpoints stemming from the values and philosophy that inspired Nankid® The science of mother campaign.

“The campaign is a celebratio­n rooted in Nestlé Nankid Optipro ® ’s commitment to emulate a mother’s unconditio­nal love, devotion, attentiven­ess, and dedication through science and nutrition to help give a child the best start in life,” said Nestlé Nutrition Malaysia and Singapore business executive officer Kenny Wong.

With Nankid® The science of mother campaign, Nestlé is fulfilling a Swiss promise to continuous­ly innovate one of the most advanced age- adapted formula milk powder for a child’s growing needs.

During the launch, guests were also apprised of Nestlé Nankid Optipro ® ’s unique blend of protein.

After the dialogue, founder of Eats, Shoots and Roots, an urban edu- garden start-up shared how gardens can be created at home with children.

Each guest was presented with a beautifull­y gift wrapped seedbox starter kit to create her own urban garden at home, courtesy of Nestlé Nankid Optipro®.
