Regus to expand into more states
KUALA LUMPUR: Flexible working space provider Regus Management Malaysia Sdn Bhd is targeting to expand its serviced office and co-working space centres into several other states by next year.
Regus Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei country head Vijayakumar Tangarasan said the company was looking at new locations for the expansion such as Ipoh and Melaka to cater to the demand for flexible working space.
“The demand has changed a lot, even globally, and everybody wants to have flexibility.
“We are also opening more centres by year- end in areas such as Puchong, Petaling Jaya and Subang,” he told a media briefing yesterday.
In September, Regus launched its latest business centre in Bangsar South, with 347 modern work stations and workspace options, which included private offices, co-sharing workspaces, a variety of meeting rooms and full Internet connectivity.
“With this new centre in Bangsar South, we are offering a prestigious address for businesses ranging from start-ups, small and medium enterprises, or multinational corporations to expand according to their needs,” he said.
The new centre has 347 modern work stations with workspace options that include private offices, co-sharing workspaces, a variety of meeting rooms and full connectivity.
“The new centre already has a 60 per cent occupancy rate with take-ups from numerous large and small businesses,” Vijayakumar said.
Nationwide, Regus has 33 workspace centres in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor, Sabah ( Kota Kinabalu) and Labuan.
