ACIS Digital, HRDF to conduct cybersecurity workshop at Pullman Kuching

KUCHING: ACIS Digital, in collaboration with the Human Resources Development Fund ( HRDF), AC Interactive Solutions and Intelligence Sandbox, will conduct a workshop on ‘Cyber- Security – In Board Room for Borneo Edition’ at the Pullman Hotel here this Oct 18.

The session will run from 9am to 4pm.

According to ACIS Digital chief executive officer Agatha Charlotte, the workshop is held in line with the Sarawak Digital Economy Strategy ( SDES).

It will emphasise on cybersecurity awareness and also equipping individuals – be they in the government, organisations or the private sector.

“This represents ACIS’ support to the SDES’ ‘Action 44’, which is to develop a cyber- security code of practice to improve awareness of cyber- security; and ‘Action 45’, which is to create an effective legal framework to tackle cyber risks in Sarawak,” she said in a statement.

The workshop will feature key speakers including CyberSecurity Malaysia Outreach and Capacity Building Division senior vice- president Lt- Col Mustaffa Ahmad who will speak on ‘Cyber Security is Organisation’s Corporate Culture’, Logical Operations chief executive officer Bill Rosenthal whose talk will be on ‘ Cyber Security is C- Level Activity’, and Pink Elephant Asia management consultant Dinesh Shekar who will talk about ‘ Organisation’s Cyber Security Readiness for Industry 4.0’.
