Bintulu Vocational College to hold carnival
BINTULU: Bintulu Vocational College ( KV Bintulu) Carnival 2018 will be held here on Oct 2427 from 8am- 4.30pm.
The college director Jamali Muhamad said this carnival offered the best opportunity to those interested to know more about technical skills education available at KV Bintulu and related careers in the sector.
“We are committed to promote KV Bintulu as the best technical education institution specialising in technical skills and the system that we are using to the students and parents. We also want to maintain good partnership with industrial players, the locals and the educators in KV Bintulu,” he added.
Jamali said among the activities lined up for the carnival are exhibitions on industries, education, finance, health, innovation, workshop tour, parental talks, auto show and others.
KV Bintulu he disclosed is using an online application system for the upcoming students intake which is open until Dec 20 at http://www.moe.gov.my while the printed forms are obtainable during the carnival.
KV Bintulu offers ten course programmes namely industrial machining technology, automotive technology,welding technology, construction technology, electronic technology, electrical technology, business management, fashion design, culinary arts and cosmetology.
Students must have at least Grade D in Bahasa Melayu and Living Skills in PT3 2018 and at least Band 3 for BM, English, Science, Mathematics and Living Skills in PT3 2018 school assessment.
Minister of Utilities Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom will officiate at the carnival opening ceremony on Oct 24 at 10am.
