Ariana Grande admits she’s anxious after sudden breakup
LOS ANGELES: Just 48 hours after abruptly breaking off her engagement to comedian Pete Davidson, singer Ariana Grande has admitted that her anxiety levels are rising.
They had been engaged for just four months.
On Instagram Stories, Grande, 25, wrote: “Can’t believe i almost let my anxiety ruin this for me today!!!”
Grande is set to perform during NBC’s much-awaited A Very Wicked Halloween 15th anniversary special on Oct 29.
She added: “Honoured to be included in this celebration of 15 years of my favourite musical of all time.”
A source told the publication Us that the former couple — who got engaged in June after weeks of dating — “realised it happened too quick and too early,” and noted, “the wedding is off, but they’re working things out. They’re not officially done yet.”
Grande is also dealing with the recent death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller.
Moreover, she is battling anxiety following a tragic terror attack that took place at her Manchester, England concert in May 2017, leaving 22 concertgoers dead.
“Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend,” her rep said

in a statement at the time. “She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline. She thanks her fans for their understanding.”
Grande’s announcement is a refreshing contrast to other celebrities who have recently tried to break ties with social media. After a string of public outbursts, Kanye West abruptly deleted his accounts earlier this month, only to re- activate his Twitter one week later with a series of bizarre Periscope videos. Davidson has also been known to wipe out his Instagram presence at random, only to come back shortly thereafter.
