Toyota car dealers jointly host roadshow

KUCHING: Three Toyota dealers based here namely UMW Toyota ( Pending branch), Boulevard Jaya Sdn Bhd and Best Motors Corporatio­n Sdn Bhd are hosting a joint roadshow featuring various Toyota car models at the AEON Mall Kuching Central starting yesterday.

Boulevard Jaya sales manager Alex Chan told reporters at the event’s venue the roadshow was also held to introduce the all-new second generation Toyota Rush following its launch in Peninsular Malaysia last week.

A UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd ( UMWT) press release revealed that the second generation of the 7-seater Toyota Rush SUV model was developed especially for Asean markets.

Engineered for robustness and designed for practicali­ty, the all-new Rush has also received regular updates to meet the changing needs of customers.

“The vehicle comes with a 5year full warranty with unlimited mileage.

“UMWT expects to sell around 3,600 units in 2019 and in anticipati­on of high demand, the new model will be assembled under contract at Perodua’s manufactur­ing plant,” the press release added.

The estimated price of the allnew Toyota Rush for Sarawak and Sabah is RM101,000 for the S variant and RM96,000 for the G variant.

The model comes with five exterior colour choices namely white, silver metallic, dark gray metallic, blue metallic and dark green metallic.

Bookings for the two variants are accepted at all authorised Toyota showrooms nationwide from today.
