Shell awards scholarship to six students for 2018
KUCHING: Six students were selected out of 2,000 applications to receive Shell Scholarship Fund 2018, as part of the organisation’s commitment to invest and develop young talents for the energy industry.
After going through a series of stringent assessments, competency- based evaluations and interview, Nuhaa Aneesaa Nasri Wong ( SM Lok Yuk, KK), Joshua Tan ( KK High), Lewis Tang ( Kuching High), Gordon Wu ( St Joseph Private School Kuching), Christine Loo ( SMK Taman Inderawasih Penang) and Kasyfil Iman Zakaria (Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah, KL) were awarded the prestigious scholarship.
Shell has been driving talent development towards nation building for the past 40 years through its scholarship programme for students to pursue tertiary education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
