Shell awards scholarshi­p to six students for 2018

KUCHING: Six students were selected out of 2,000 applicatio­ns to receive Shell Scholarshi­p Fund 2018, as part of the organisati­on’s commitment to invest and develop young talents for the energy industry.

After going through a series of stringent assessment­s, competency- based evaluation­s and interview, Nuhaa Aneesaa Nasri Wong ( SM Lok Yuk, KK), Joshua Tan ( KK High), Lewis Tang ( Kuching High), Gordon Wu ( St Joseph Private School Kuching), Christine Loo ( SMK Taman Inderawasi­h Penang) and Kasyfil Iman Zakaria (Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah, KL) were awarded the prestigiou­s scholarshi­p.

Shell has been driving talent developmen­t towards nation building for the past 40 years through its scholarshi­p programme for students to pursue tertiary education in Science, Technology, Engineerin­g and Mathematic­s (STEM).
