Natural Health Farm clarifies on commotion at Shah Alam HQ

-

KUCHING: The management of Natural Health Farm, whose products are being promoted by Sarawak-born singer and model Dr Jessie Chung, clarified the commotion that occurred in front of its Shah Alam office Saturday. A previous report said Chung is also the founder of Natural Health Farm.

“At 10.30am ( Nov 3), a crowd of 30 to 40 people led by Yew Jia Haur, an assistant of ( DAP Kepong) MP Lim Lip Eng demonstrated outside the entrance of Natural Health Farm headquarters,” company management said in a press statement.

“According to eyewitnesses, the masked demonstrators shouted, denounced, and disparaged our company and Jessie Chung.

“In a video uploaded to Facebook, Yew Jia Haur claimed that our company declined to meet him when he contacted us. This is a very irresponsible statement as we did not receive any telephone call or notice from Yew Jia Haur.

“Their actions were very inequitable to the company. We have called the law enforcement in the hope that they will deal with the perpetrators.”

The company ( Natural Health Farm) said they have also clarified that the company is one of point redemption merchants of the principal Pollywood.

The company management said Natural Health Farm is not the owner of Pollywood as some ( Pollywood) members had claimed. The statement added that Chung was merely one of the guest performers invited to perform at Pollywood events, and since Natural Health Farm was one of Pollywood’s merchants, the company was open to Pollywood members for tours, health seminars and the purchase of products.

“Later, it was discovered that some individuals were using the name of Dr Jessie Chung and Natural Health Farm to attract members. Our company has warned Pollywood by phone and in writing to stop all improper claims by them and their members.

“However, due to the failure of Pollywood to fulfil its agreement, our company issued a letter of attorney ( LA) to communicate a severe warning. Also, our company has already published a notice of clarification in the newspapers, and has reported the incident to the authorities.”

Natural Health Farm also claimed it was one of the victims of the Pollywood-linked event.

“Pollywood is still in arrears with payment of our products, and have not made any reimbursements. Natural Health Farm will take similar legal action against the disparagers and perpetrators who continue to damage the reputation of the company on the internet, in the media or through any other methods.”

Based on the video and photos uplaoded in Facebook the ‘ protesters’ named Chung a fraudster of their hard earned money. Chung was one of seven individuals they were unhappy about following what they alleged as ‘Pollywood Big Scam’.

Pollywood is said to be a marketing firm that formulated an investment scheme with a theme to make the planet ‘go Green to save Earth’. Some of the products marketed are those involving health and beauty.
