The expansion taps on Malaysia’s growing reputation for healthcare tourism especially cosmetic treatments.

“Penang has always been a top choice among healthcare tourists. Our location here allows us to tap into the potential of this beautiful state while also expanding our reach internationally,” said UR Klinik founder Dr Athan Fong.

A specialist in skin pigmentation treatments, UR Klinik is proudly a Penang brand that has grown tremendously in recent years, providing an array of beauty and aesthetics services with outlets in the central and southern region.

Its popularity can be attributed to effective treatments, products and services using state- of- theart technology from Korea complemented by chemicalfree beauty and aesthetics products.

“We are committed to providing our clients with the best solution and service at all times,” emphasised Dr Fong.

During the event, Lee congratulated UR Klinik on its new branch opening in Penang.

“The Penang State Government will continue efforts to ensure that Penang emerges as the number one healthcare medical tourism destination in Southeast Asia,” he said.

Among its satisfied clients is Madam Chan, a businesswoman who had dark spots and an uneven skin tone.

“They conducted some tests and explained everything very thoroughly to me. After just five treatments, my pigmentation issues had decreased significantly. Now, I save on concealers and everybody says I look younger now,” she enthused.

Homemaker Madam Suni credits UR Klinik’s treatments for giving her more confidence.

“After three treatments and some pigmentation lightening products, my pigmentation issues are nearly gone. Previously, I put on makeup each time I went out. Now, I am very comfortable going out fresh-faced!” she exclaimed.
