KANOWIT: More entrepreneurs in Sarawak have been urged to venture into e- commerce as a way to expand their market presence.
Assistant Minister for ECommerce Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais also hoped local entrepreneurs can enhance their online business knowledge and generate new, more creative and innovative strategies to ensure their businesses are more competitive.
“According to a survey, more than 12 per cent of Internet usage is for e- commerce. Ecommerce has shown very positive development whereby its growth rate at the global level this year is between 13 and 25 per cent.
