Cha Eun-woo’s Spanish skills and knowledge of Mexico shows he’s just not a pretty face

-

CHA Eun-woo proved himself to be the ultimate “total package” in the Nov. 24 episode of “Carefree Travelers”, a travel reality show broadcast on JTBC.

A member of boy band Astro, which he debuted in 2016, Cha went on a joint trip to Mexico alongside g.o.d rapper Park Joonhyung, SechsKies rapper Eun Jiwon, comedian Noh Hong- chul, comedian Hwang Je- sung, and actor Sunghoon.

The 21-year- old whipped out the correct answers to the Spanish and Mexican music quiz while on the trip. He offered background information on Mexico’s historical sites and traditions, and communicated with locals in Spanish.

“How do you know all this?” marvelled his travel mates at Cha’s Spanish skills and knowledge of Mexico.

The Astro star has said in his recent interview with GQ Korea that he is “very ambitious” when it comes to learning.

Seems like he has brains to go with his looks. Not only that, his singing talent was obvious in the soundtrack of YouTube’s original series ‘ Top Management’ in which he played the lead role.

The track includes a song written and sung by Cha, with the lyrics echoing the singeractor’s unique prredicament of talent being overshadowed by beauty.

“I sing quite nicely. I can also cook pretty well. I’ve got brains, too. But all that anybody sees is my face,” sings Cha.

The song takes a bit of a comical turn as he adds, “Why am I born this way, mom? My reflection in the mirror cannot care less how I feel. It’s beautiful still. I’m smitten.”
