KUCHING: Hotel Grand Continental Kuching is once again keeping with tradition by serving a delightful spread for its Christmas buffet dinner.
Chef Ben Koh and his team are preparing a scrumptious combination of local and international selections, with a carving station that offers roasted boneless leg of lamb infused with garlic and rosemary and served with lamb jus; as well as roasted whole turkey marinated with spices, served with giblet sauce and accompanied by Brussels sprouts, traditional mixed roasted potatoes and pumpkins.
The appetisers section serves fisherman’s chowder, paella, fettuccini marinara, roasted duck with chef’s sauce, wok-fried buttered prawns with Nestum, buttered carrots, cauliflower and broccoli, shepherd’s pie, poached fish with scallion sauce, and chicken fricassee.
“Complete the Christmas feast with Chef Ben’s selection of desserts – ranging from the chocolate Yule Log, white Christmas stollen, strawberry litchi rolls, mini gingerbread man, raspberry panna cotta, Christmas cookies and a variety of French pastries,” the hotel said in a promotional release.
The Christmas buffet dinner at Brasserie runs from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. It is priced at RM85.00 per adult, RM42.50 per child (aged five to 12), and RM59.50 per senior citizen (aged 60 and above).
