Moyan Square Shopping Mall to hold colouring contest

KUCHING: Moyan Square Shopping Mall located at the Batu Kawa-Matang Road intersection will host the 2018 Kids’ Colouring Contest II tomorrow ( Dec 20) in conjunction with the Christmas and New Year 2018 celebrations.

According to a press release, the event will take place at the Moyan Square Shopping Mall ground floor from 1pm- 3pm. Customers who make purchases of at least RM20 in a single receipt at any Moyan Mall outlets between now and Dec 27 are eligible for immediate registration at the outlets.

The champion will receive RM100 while the first runner-up gets and second runner-up get RM80 and RM50 respectively. Three RM30 consolation prizes are also offered. Apart from the cash prizes, winners will also receive trophies.

The colouring contest is divided into two Category A (Primary 1-3) and Category B (Primary 4- 6). For Category A, contestants will use colour pencils while for Category B, crayons will be used. They are asked to bring their own drawing colour pencils and crayons.

Participants must arrive at least 20 minutes before the contest begins while latecomers will not be entertained.The organiser will provide a drawing in A3 size for all contestants on the day. They can bring along their own drawing table if they choose to. Results will be announced and prizes will be awarded after the contest.

All decisions made by the organiser and the judges will be final. The event organiser said it reserved the right (at any time) to substitute any of the prizes whether in whole or in part with another item of similar value without giving prior notice to the winners.

The mall will also have lots of balloons for children on that day.
