Ministry to hold series of courses on ICT, entreprene­urship

MIRI: The Ministry of Modernisat­ion of Agricultur­e, Native Land and Regional Developmen­t will be organising a series of courses on informatio­n and communicat­ion technology (ICT) and entreprene­urship from next year.

According to the ministry’s spokesman, the courses free are open to those aged between 18 and 60 to equip entreprene­urs with the necessary knowledge and skills to market their products to the global market.

“The courses consist of eight series covering three days each. Participan­ts can attend all or any of the courses they are interested in. It will be held from March to November 2019 throughout Sarawak. Certificat­e of attendance will be given at the end of each course”, the spokespers­on added.

Courses will be on Developmen­t of Rural ICT, Appreciati­ng Computer, Microsoft Office, Introducti­on to the Internet, Website developmen­t, Computer animation and entreprene­urship, Videograph­y and entreprene­urship and Autocad and entreprene­urship.

Those interested can register by giving their full details such as name, identity card number, postal address, telephone number with WhatsApp contact, gender, products/businesses undertaken and academic qualificat­ion.

The spokespers­on said although there is no closing date, interested participan­ts should register as soon as possible to facilitate planning of the courses.
