Ministry to hold series of courses on ICT, entrepreneurship
MIRI: The Ministry of Modernisation of Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development will be organising a series of courses on information and communication technology (ICT) and entrepreneurship from next year.
According to the ministry’s spokesman, the courses free are open to those aged between 18 and 60 to equip entrepreneurs with the necessary knowledge and skills to market their products to the global market.
“The courses consist of eight series covering three days each. Participants can attend all or any of the courses they are interested in. It will be held from March to November 2019 throughout Sarawak. Certificate of attendance will be given at the end of each course”, the spokesperson added.
Courses will be on Development of Rural ICT, Appreciating Computer, Microsoft Office, Introduction to the Internet, Website development, Computer animation and entrepreneurship, Videography and entrepreneurship and Autocad and entrepreneurship.
Those interested can register by giving their full details such as name, identity card number, postal address, telephone number with WhatsApp contact, gender, products/businesses undertaken and academic qualification.
The spokesperson said although there is no closing date, interested participants should register as soon as possible to facilitate planning of the courses.
