Thirteen local beauties vie for Miss Grand Miri crown
MIRI: Thirteen fi nalists will vie for the Miss Grand Miri 2019 crown during the grand fi nale at Meritz Hotel here, set for this Feb 5.
The preliminary rounds will commence with a photo- shoot session of all contestants in their casual wear on Jan 112, followed by a bikini photo- shoot on Jan 29, the ‘Miss Cultural’ night on Feb 1 and ‘ Miss Talent’ night on Feb 2. The last two events will take place at Bintang Megamall here.
For the grand finale, all contestants will undergo three rounds of judging – first will be the selection of the top 10 fi nalists, then down to the top six before the announcement of the top three contestants.
Miss Grand Miri 2018 Vanessa Gilbert will crown the next winner that night.
This year’s queen and the fi rstrunner up fi nalist will represent this division at Miss Grand Sarawak 2019, to be hosted in Sibu on March 30. In turn, the state-level winner will represent Sarawak at Miss Grand Malaysia 2019, set to take place in early May this year.
