Pullman Kuching launches seafood and grill buffet

KUCHING: Pullman Kuching launched its Seafood and Grill Combo Night Buffet at Puzzle restaurant on Friday.

Executive chef Asfia Rizal said the buffet, which runs for the next three months, will feature impeccably fresh seafood and meat.

Starters include a variety of fresh seafood on the ice ranging from poached prawns to half shell mussels, fresh oysters, and poached clams.

“The main dishes are designed to be simple yet satisfying and each dish selection includes seafood, vegetables and meat. Creamy mash potato, seafood fried beehoon, roasted chicken with barbecue sauce, wok fried prawns with oat butter sauce, wok fried mixed vegetables with oyster sauce, tulang rawang masak terung asam and corn on a cob just to name a few.

“Our chefs have started the fire in the barbecue pit for your family and friends so get ready for a feast of delicious barbecue buffet with hearty servings of succulent mini beef steaks, lamb chops, chicken wings, chicken drumsticks, garlic beef sausages, bratwurst sausages, served with air asam, cili kicap, sambal, limau kasturi, black pepper sauce, barbecue sauce and spicy percik sauce,” he said.

Diners can also look forward to watching their food being prepared by the hotel’s culinary team at the stalls.

Asfia said the wide selection includes stingray, salmon, banana prawns, New Zealand mussels and flower crab.

“Satisfy your palate with our piping hot soup, creamy pumpkin tom yam soup served alongside an assortment of freshly baked bread rolls hot from the oven. To perfectly round off the night, indulge yourself with a soothing bowl of air batu campur served with colourful condiments, or select the ice cream flavour of your choice with your favourite toppings,” he said.

The buffet dinner, available every Friday and Saturday from 6.30pm to 10pm, is priced at RM88 for adults and half price for children aged 12 and below, while children aged five and below eat for free.

Pullman Kuching is halal certified and does not use monosodium glutamate (MSG) in its food preparatio­n.
