Free unlimited Business Wi-Fi now available at BCCK

KUCHING: The availabili­ty of unlimited Wi-Fi has become an important element for conference attendees to enable them to stay connected with their workplaces or families while away from home.

In this regard, the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching ( BCCK) in a press statement announced the provision of compliment­ary unlimited free Business Wi-Fi Internet access throughout all meeting rooms and communal areas on Level One and Two of the centre, enabling visitors, delegates, exhibitors to remain in contact while on-thego.

esigned for speed, density and powered by gigabit Internet connectivi­ty, BCCK’s Business WiFi was purpose-built to provide wireless service for up to 8,000 users at any one event to stream multiple devices simultaneo­usly without interrupti­on.

“The high- speed, highdensit­y and secure wireless connectivi­ty service requires no login,passwords or other personal data, and is ad-free. For customers who require even more speed or bandwidth, custom options will still be available for purchase,” said BCCK informatio­n and communicat­ion technology ( ICT) manager, Sylvester Tan.

Meanwhile, BCCK chief executive officer (CEO) Eric van Piggelen said: “BCCK also offers a dedicated speaker support centre with secure network linking to the meeting rooms. Each meeting room will be supplied with a computer that is networked back to the speaker’s support centre. An experience in-house team of technician­s will assist in setting up the workstatio­n and logging onto our dedicated system for the purpose of uploading, review and last-minute changes to the presentati­on slides in order to provide seamless experience­s for both the organisers and speakers.

“We at BCCK strive to constantly deliver the best experience and customer satisfacti­on for all our clients and delegates. Having this unlimited Wi-Fi for all delegates will definitely­complement our efforts and give our organisers peace- of-mind when having their events with us,” he added.
