KUCHING: Schneider Electric, the global leader in energy management and automation, recently hosted its annual APC by Schneider Electric Appreciation Night, an award ceremony to recognise and honour local partners for their commitment and exemplary performance throughout 2018.

APC by Schneider Electric presented four award categories to outstanding and dedicated distributors, as well as top growth partners with four winners each, while 13 other Malaysian companies were acknowledged through the 2018 Million- Dollar Partner Award.

These local companies successfully contributed to the growth of Schneider’s business by over RM1 million within the year.

The Million- Dollar Award (MDA) was introduced back in 2016 to empower and motivate local partners to work towards becoming royalty partners, and to encourage a strong support system support for the brand.

Winners were identified based on the partner’s annual buy- in reports for APC products only.

The 2018 group of award winners represent a diverse set of organisations which have contributed tremendously towards setting energy management trends for Malaysian businesses.

The winner for the 2018 Outstanding Distributor Award, MCL BHD, sold over 30thousand units of APC single phase UPS, thus sustaining Schneider Electric’s market share leadership in Malaysia.

“We engage and work closely with customers and partners across Malaysia to highlight the importance of energy management. This is our focus and an area we pride ourselves on,” Country president of Schneider Electric Soo Pow Leong said.

“Without their constant support and exceptional work, we would not be able to offer the level of service quality we have today.

“We are also thrilled to have created a strong and robust revenue stream for our partners amidst the tough economic climate last year.”

“On behalf of Schneider Electric, I would like to congratulate all of our dedicated partners for their unwavering commitment and hard work.

“I am personally looking forward to our continued success together, as well as in helping create a sustainable future for the nation.”
