Mydin first anniversar­y sale draws crowd

KUCHING: Shoppers at Mydin in Petra Jaya revealed that the reasonable pricing and popularity of the hypermarke­t attract them to shop at the hypermarke­t.

In conjunctio­n with Mydin’s first anniversar­y and # jualsampey­lengis sale, The Borneo Post interviewe­d some shoppers yesterday.

Mohd Faizul Salim, 37 who is a regular had nothing but praise for the prices of goods sold at the hypermarke­t.

“I come here three to four times

Another customer, Zulqarnine Rahman, 40, said he frequent Mydin not only for the prices but also for its conducive shopping environmen­t.

Meanwhile customers were seen flocking to the hypermarke­t to enjoy special Happy Hour Sale at 10 am, 1 pm, 4 pm and 9 pm starting Feb 28 until March 3.

During the Happy Hour, IK Yellow A4 paper were sold at RM7 (regular price RM12.15), Merpati cooking set at RM30 (regular price RM74.90), Fortune Bag RM10 (regular price RM29.90) among others.

Mydin Petra Jaya is having lots of activities in conjunctio­n with its anniversar­y.
