SUPP youths assist in BSH applicatio­ns

KUCHING: Sarawak United People’s Party ( SUPP) Kuching Branch’s Youth Section assisted more than 50 eligible applicants for the Bantuan Sara Hidup to apply for the grant at its mobile service counter set up at India Street Pedestrian Mall, over the weekend.

SUPP Kuching Branch youth chief Thomas Teo said under the new government’s administra­tion, a stricter measure that requires more documents and details are required in ensuring that only those who are really eligible can benefit from this initiative.

He appealed to those eligible applicants who have not applied to visit http:// bsh. hasil. gov. my/ and follow the instructio­ns stated to submit the required informatio­n before March 31, or alternativ­ely, they may also walk in to the Inland Revenue Board ( IRB) Sarawak for enquiries and applicatio­ns.

Otherwise, the general public may also visit SUPP Kuching Branch’s office situated at Petanak area for consultati­on, Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 12.00 noon and 2.00pm to 4.30pm) or call 082-244633 for assistance.

“For many years, SUPP as a Sarawak-based party has always strived to assist and serve people wholeheart­edly and sincerely. Party members are always ready and willing to offer their assistance.

“SUPP has been trying its very best in solving the issues that the people are facing, and I hope that the general public will not be misled by certain parties on the BSH applicatio­n,” said Teo.
