TOYM 2019 Award presentation ceremony will be held on Sept 14 in Kuching.
“Nomination form may be downloaded from www. JCIMalaysia.cc/TOYM. This is the first time Kuching is hosting the event, and I really hope that more people from Sarawak will participate.
“Previously, we received about 100 nominations every year. We hope to receive no fewer than 150 nominations this year,” she added.
Only those aged between 18 and 40 may be nominated for the award.
For the record, Sarawak hosted the event only once – in Sibu in 2016.
Meanwhile, Sibu Municipal Council chairman Datuk Tiong Thai King who also attended the press conference, said TOYM award is to give recognition to young Malaysians for their dedication to their professions and outstanding achievements in various undertakings.
“TOYM event is a good platform to give them the due recognition,” he added.
Tiong said the award also inspired and motivated young Malaysians to scale greater heights in their undertakings which bring positive impact for community development.
