Four PASC swimmers win medals at PRAM Meet
KUCHING: Power Aquatics Swimming Club (PASC) swimmers contributed two gold, one silver and two bronze medals to the state team at the 55th Milo/PRAM Malaysia Invitational Age Group Swimming Championship held from March 7 to 10.
Sarawak won four gold, eight silver and 13 bronze to finish nineth
Darren Leong won two golds and a bronze while Wilfred Tan collected a silver and a bronze.
Darren and Wilfred also joined forces with Dylan Leong and Ong Zong Lian to snatch a silver and bronze in the team relays.
The four of them have been selected by Amateur Swimming Association of Sarawak (Asas) to compete in the National Age Group Championship after they met the qualifying times during the recent Sarawak Age Group Championship.
Meanwhile, six PASC swimmers (four boys and two girls) - Darren Leong, Dylan Leong, Wilfred Tan, Ong Zong Lian. Sara Tham and Bibienne Ong - are also due to compete in the MSSM Championship to be held in Ipoh from March 24 to 28.
Meanwhile, the closing date for entries for the PASC 4th Inter-Primary School Swimming Competition is on March 20.
The one- day meet wi l l be held at the Pandelela Rinong Aquatic Centre in Petra Jaya on April 7.
