KUCHING: School leavers and current students are invited to Eduquest Education Fair at Pullman Hotel, Kuching on March 27 (1 to 5pm) and Seri Simanggang Hotel, Sri Aman on March 28 (1 to 5pm).

According to Eduquest education manager Michael Yii in a press release, as SPM and STPM results were recently released, this education fair will be a good avenue for students and parents to check out further education at local or overseas institutions.

“Many universities have new intakes in April and May with some waving the application fee for admission on-the- spot,” Yii said.

He advised students and school leavers to bring their identity cards and actual results for immediate evaluation and application.

“Parents and students may enquire about popular courses such as A-Levels, South Australian Certificate of Education and Foundation for subjects ranging from medicine and pharmacy to architecture and design.

“There are also non-traditional courses like traditional Chinese medicine, real estate management and occupational safety.

“Studying in Malaysia and Singapore is affordable especially with scholarships, bursaries and financial aid provided by the government and institutions. The quality of education in these institutions are on par with world-renowned universities,” Yii added.

Eduquest Education Services has placed thousands of students into universities or colleges of their choice since 2002.
