Hosting its first initiative in Malaysia, Des Prix Infinitus Asean Property Awards focuses on the Malaysian property and service sector, acting as a platform for developers to connect and learn from one another in terms of technological advancements, sustainable buildings and marketing strategies.

“Des Prix Infinitus Asean Property Awards Gala Night objectives are to raise the bar for property developers and set standards that is recognise within the region,” commented Datuk Wan Mohamad Saleh, chairman of Des Prix Infinitus Sdn Bhd.

“We are very proud that Des Prix Infinitus Sdn Bhd stepped up to reign and coordinate a property award event that connects Malaysia to the rest of the Asean countries,” commented Zuraida Kamaruddin, Minister of Housing and Local Government.

“This not only strengthens present connections but also fosters future collaborations in the property industry.”

During the judging process, the entries went through a comprehensive procedure by the Asean Property Awards’ panel judges, including HL Architecture Sdn Bhd director Martin R Haeger, Blaine Robert Design managing director Blaine Robert, and AS Retreat Collections Sdn Bhd founder Jazz Law, where they were at loggerheads on different developments and projects.

“The plans and designs submitted were very competitive as each of the projects and developments had its unique standpoint, which made it a tough call but after hours of deliberate discussion, all of us are on the same page,” commented one of the judges.

This venture ensures that local property developers and agents are always in the know of the progress in other countries, ensuring that the industry is constantly evolving to meet a demanding set of quality standards, which serve as a benchmark in the property industry.

With Malaysia spearheading this initiative among the Asean countries, the Asean Property Award is set to see more entries from different countries within the region in the coming years.
