Club selects 10 for international arm wrestling tournament

KUCHING: The Premier 101 Armwrestling Club will be sponsoring 10 pullers for the 4th Premier 101 International Charity Armwrestling Competition at Premier 101 Commercial Centre on April 6.

They are Dominic Johnny, Jong Chi Joon, Ng Evin Lee, Kenny Choo Tzan Liong, Oscar Chai, Daren Ng, KJ Lee, Crystal Adam, Abigail Kee Zing Ning and Bernice Gan Siew Hua.

The team manager is Louisie Teng.

Premier 101 Armwrestling Club secretary and coach Goh Thian Weai said the 10 were chosen from a selection trial attended by 30 aspirants at CityOne Shopping Mall recently.

“We wi l l only sponsor the winner of each category during the selection trial and we were looking for 10 pullers to represent the club in respective categories,” he said.

According to Goh, event organiser Premier 101 Armwrestling Club are actively promoting the annual event which will be organised together with another international event the “Vendetta Top 8”.

Premier 101 Armwrestling Club deputy president Stephen Kee Chu Kiong is the event organising chairman.

The 4th Premieri 101 International Charity Armwrestling Competition is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports, Malaysia Armwrestling Federation and the Sarawak Tourism Board.
