Digital Mobile Health Summit 2019 to expect 500 Asean delegates

KUCHING: Some 500 delegates from across Asean are expected at the inaugural Digital Mobile Health Summit 2019 on Nov 16 -17 this year.

Kuching city will be hosting the two-day event at Pullman Hotel here for medical practition­ers from various Asean countries.

Organised by Asean-China Entreprene­ur’s Associatio­n (ACEA), the summit is also supported by Malaysian federal and state government agencies as well as Malaysia Medical Associatio­n.

It is learnt that ambassador­s of the 10 Asean nations will also be attending the summit.

The summit will provide a platform for delegates to keep abreast of the latest global trend on digital mobile health services and serve as an avenue for Asean countries to seek collaborat­ion on digital mobile health services given the borderless world of today.

Delegates will also be able to explore business opportunit­ies on not just digital mobile health services but also medical tourism in Asean region.

The summit will include dialogues and exhibition apart from the seminars and workshops.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg is expected to officiate at the global event on Nov 17.

Participat­ing fee for the twoday summit is RM100 including welcoming dinner and lunches.
