Sheda holds 3-day 1st Home and Property Road Show

KUCHING: The Kuching branch of Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Associatio­n (Sheda) is holding a three- day 1st Home and Property Road Show 2019 at Vivacity Megamall until tomorrow.

Thirty-six booths are being put up at the roadshow with Sheda and non-members showcasing their properties in Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur and Johor, aimed at meeting the housing needs of every sector of the society.

The roadshow features the national Home Ownership Campaign 2019, where home buyers of participat­ing projects can enjoy at least 10 per cent discount on the price of house, and stamp duty waiver on instrument of transfer and loan agreement.

“In conjunctio­n with the Home Ownership Campaign 2019, which runs from Jan 1 to June 30, a survey will also be conducted during the 1st Home and Property Roadshow 2019,” Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian told a press conference here yesterday

He said the Inland Revenue Board would also be present during the roadshow to brief potential home buyers on the relevant stamp duty exemption, and also to give other tax-related advice.

Potential buyers during the event stand a chance to win electrical appliances, cookware and tupperware hampers in the Buy & Win Lucky draw.

The grand prize winner will walk away with Nippon Paint vouchers worth RM3,000.

Second and third winners will get RM1,000 and RM500 vouchers respective­ly, also sponsored by Nippon Paint.
