Cancer experts to give free consultation service

KUCHING: A free consultation service provided by cancer experts will be held in Miri (April 12), Kuching (April 13), Sibu (April 14), Sungai Petani (April 19), Penang (April 20) and GHHS Seri Kembangan (April 21).

According to a media release yesterday, GHHS Healthcare Chinese Medical Centre team of professional Chinese physicians will provide free consultation, basic health test, traditional Chinese medicine ( TCM) therapists.

Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou Penang office has also been invited to provide patient free consultation on cancer treatment by using minimally invasive treatment without using traditional surgeon, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Hospital manager Yong Chee Hong said Prof Wu QingKai who is expected to attend the seminar and give consultation is a member of the Chinese AntiCancer Association, Chinese Medical Association, doctorial supervisor of Henan Medical University, professor at Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou and visiting professor at China Southern Medical University.

Wu is said to have received the Gold Award for Outstanding Contribution on Minimally Invasive Therapy for Cancer in Guangdong Province for the year 2013-2015.

Yong advised those who wished to go for the free session to bring along their medical reports including results of their CT, PET, and MRI scans to facilitate consultation.
