SHAH ALAM: The Selangor State Development Corporation ( PKNS) BizPoint has introduced a smartphone application in an effort to reach more clients.

The application, which can be downloaded from Google Play Store, will make it easier for clients to book seminar rooms, browse picture gallery and access information about office rental packages ( VIO by PKNS).

Operating from a fourstorey building in Jalan Plum bu mP 7/ P, Section 7 here, PKNS BizPoint offers the PKNS BizClub, coworking space, four seminar rooms and VIO by PKNS as venues for events.

The launch of the new application was officiated by Selangor Entrepreneurial, Rural and Traditional Village Development Committee chairman Rodziah Ismail yesterday. PKNS chief operating officer Siti Zubaidah Abdul Jabar said the application could also be used by Apple’s smartphone users, and it is targeted for download from the App Store in two months’ time.

She said the application could attract more entrepreneurs to use the facilities provided by PKNS BizPoint as the process is now easier and faster.

“Customers can now book a seminar room using the menu provided by choosing the time and day for their events. It also facilitates users to search the PKNS BizPoint’s building by simply pressing the location button in the app,” she said.

She said users could access the latest programmes organised by the corporation, including entrepreneurship courses and business opportunities.

Indirectly, the application can help promote PKNS entrepreneurship development programmes, as well as services offered by the PKNS BizPoint to the public, she added. —
