Well-Town education fund open to clients till April 30

KUCHING: Well-Town Constructi­on Developmen­t Sdn Bhd’s Education Fund is now open for registrati­on, as it continues to reward children of its property buyers who excel in their studies.

A representa­tive from WellTown said they had already sent out the forms to their property buyers.

“The forms should be submitted by April 30 to the company’s office at No 13 A, first floor of Central Avenue, Jalan Tan Sri Datuk Kalong Ningkan here. Any submission after the deadline will not be entertaine­d.

“If any of our customers have not received the form, they are advised to come to our office to collect the forms, or call us at 082- 578 888 if they had any further queries,” the representa­tive said yesterday.

According to her, the education fund is to reward loyal customers who have been supporting WellTown all this while.

“We also want to encourage their children to work hard, and continue to improve and excel in academics.

“We also hope to contribute to society, as the principles of education and constructi­on are almost the same – you need a strong foundation for both to have a bright future.”

From Primary 1 to 5, five pupils from each level will be selected to receive RM30 each, as long as they pass 75 per cent of their examinatio­ns, while six of the highest-scoring Primary 6 pupils will be selected to receive the RM120 incentive each.

Meanwhile, from Form 1 and 2, five students from each level will be selected to receive RM50 each should they pass 65 per cent of their examinatio­ns, while the top six of highest-scoring students of Pentaksira­n Tingkatan 3 ( PT3) and Chinese School’s Form 3 will receive RM150 each.

For Form 4, Lower Six, Chinese School’s Form 4 and 5 students, six students from each level will be selected to receive RM80 each, as long as they pass 60 per cent of their examinatio­ns.

Lastly, six Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia ( SPM), Sijil Tinggi Persekolah­an Malaysia ( STPM) and Chinese School Form 6 students from each level will be selected to receive RM200 each, as long as they are the highestsco­ring students of their level.

Meanwhile, Well-Town’s Le Firenze project at Mile 12 is currently under constructi­on, with 33 units of double- storey terraced houses starting at RM459,800 per unit; and six units of semi- detached houses starting at RM650,800 per unit.
