Forty- five higher learning institutions are taking part in this year’s Pro- Dr roadshow, which started in Lundu in March. The last destination is Lawas on April 16.
It is the biggest education roadshow in Sarawak, held over three weeks.
Dr Rundi said the roadshow was specially designed to inform the youths about the many opportunities in education, training and assistance, especially to the SPM and STPM school leavers.
“It is not an easy task due to the logistic challenges but Tegas ( Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Bumiputera Sarawak) has managed to conduct it every year since 2015,” he added.
He believed the roadshow would allow the students and school leavers to have a clear mind of their future direction by taking up the right courses.
“My advice is to get help from the counselling teachers and promotional staff from the participating institutions on the courses and job opportunities,” said Dr Rundi.
