According to Assistant Minister of Agriculture Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail, the Education Department has agreed, in principle, to this move.
“The old buildings at SMK Limbang will be upgraded to accommodate such centre for the convenience of Form 6 students in Limbang,” he spoke at the annual general meeting (AGM) of SMK Limbang Alumni Association here yesterday, where Limbang District Walikota Sufian Mohat who is also the alumni chairman, and SMK Limbang principal Shamsul Bahari were also present.
Dr Abdul Rahman, who is Bukit Kota assemblyman, said the rebranded Form 6 education would to focus on pre-university learning – just like the students in matriculation.
