KUCHING: A man couldn’t hide his joy when he stepped into the Magnum Head Office in Kuala Lumpur to collect his Jackpot 1 prize money worth RM22,577,717, exclaiming: “YES! I won RM22 million from Magnum 4D Jackpot!”

The winner set the record for taking home the second highest jackpot amount won by a single player this year.

In January 2019, the highest jackpot amount won by a single player was a whopping RM33,822,299.

The lucky winner plays Magnum games almost every draw.

His favourite numbers are the plate number of cars he used to or currently own.

This time, the lucky numbers that brought him this huge fortune are 8249 (1st prize) and 1317 ( 2nd prize).

He played RM20 on the Magnum 4D Jackpot game.

“I spend between RM20 and RM50 each time to play the games.

“I believed luck will strike one day and it did,” the lucky man said with a big smile on his face.

The Magnum 4D Jackpot winner has a big heart too! He said: “I will use part of my winnings for good causes like making donations to charity homes.

“I believe in doing good because it will bring more good luck, and I am happy to help others whenever I can.”

The lucky man also praised the efficiency of the Ticket Scanner available on the Magnum App.

However, when he visits Magnum outlet, he likes to use the Ticket Checker to scan his 4D tickets.

Both the Ticket Scanner and Ticket Checker allow players to scan the QR code printed on each ticket to verify if the 4D numbers match the draw results and notifies them whether they won a prize.
