Peppers Café’s Ramadan bazaar features signature dishes by celebrity chef
BINTULU: Peppers Cafe’s 2019 Bazaar Ramadan ‘From Rembau to Bintulu’ at Promenade Hotel Bintulu is offering a special treat – sale of early bird vouchers at RM68 per person.
During the pre-launch of Peppers Cafe’s 2019 Bazaar Ramadan ‘From Rembau to Bintulu’ which was witnessed by local guests from various agencies, Chef Datuk Fazley Yaakob showcased his unique ‘ Sweet Table’ demonstration, a theatrical madeon-the- spot dessert at Emarald Hall, Promenade Hotel Bintulu.
Among those present were Bintulu Resident Jack Aman Luat, Promenade Hotel owner Mary Teh and Promenade Hotel Bintulu manager S. Ganapathy.
Just days ago, the celebrity chef was at Promenade Cafe, Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu to pre-launch ‘From Rembau to KK’ in conjunction with the upcoming Ramadan month’s Buffet Sungkai promotion.
Anyone can have a go at cooking but to cook really well, one needs to have a real passion for it.
That is something that celebrity turnedchef Datuk Fazley Yaakob, the founder, owner and executive chef of SukaSucre Bistro: From Rembau to Paris, has in spades.
The theme for this year’s Bazaar Ramadan at Peppers Cafe: From Rembau to Bintulu was inspired by Fazley’s SukaSucre Bistro: From Rembau to Paris, an award winning family restaurant.
Originating from Negeri Sembilan, Fazley’s signature dishes include kepak ayam sambal minang, kerabu daging salai, salted egg yolk cream pasta, daging salai lemak cili api dengan mangga muda, rendang daging minang, ayam pop sambal hijau, udang salai lemak cili api dengan ikan masin and seafood salai station with sauces.
All these dishes will be featured in Peppers Cafe’s Bazaar Ramadan spreads throughout the month of Ramadan starting from May 8 to 31, priced at RM78 per adult and RM45 per child (6-12 years old).
