PPKS, club to organise charity fun run
KUCHING: Sarawak Skills Development Centre ( PPKS) in collaboration with City Jogger’s Club Kuching ( CJCK) will be holding PPKS’ 25th Anniversary Charity Fun Run 2019 on July 13 this year.
According to a press release, the aim of the 5km run is to encourage the public to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle with the organiser targeting to attract about 500 participants.
Apart from that, it is also held to raise fund for the Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society for the benefit of its patients, especially to help cover treatment expenses
This charity event is part of the activities to mark PPKS’ Silver Jubilee celebration.
The registration fee for the run is between RM40 and RM50 depending on the categories (adults, students, group rate and virtual run).
A t- shirt will be provided upon registration. For adults, the early bird registration fee is RM45 per participant for those who register on or before May 20.
Those interested are encouraged to register online through the official website at www.charityrun. ppks.edu.my before the due date on June 13.
However, registration can also be done at the PPKS campus in Jalan Canna, Tabuan Jaya, and the International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak (i- CATS) West Campus in Jalan Stampin Timur, Kuching.
