IBS College’s Gawai-Raya 2019 event celebrates diversity

-

MIRI: IBS College held its Gawai-Raya 2019 event recently, hosting its students, lecturers and staff members coming from different racial and religious backgrounds.

The gathering, organised by the college’s students council, was very festive in that the guests were wearing the traditional costumes of their respective communities.

A medley of traditional dance performances by the Malays, the Ibans, and the Kenyahs kept everyone entertained throughout the get-together.

In his remarks, IBS College principal Dr Antony Hii commended the organiser for their effort and hard work in making the event a great success.

IBS College provides accounting and management programmes – all certificate, diploma and degree levels – with specialisations in accounting and finance, marketing management, human resources management, international business and business administration fields.
