Regas introduces BMW X7, The 8 series in roadshow at GoldenBay Hotel
BINTULU: Regas Premium Auto Sdn Bhd is introducing the FirstEver BMW X7 and The 8 Series in a roadshow at GoldenBay Hotel here from 10am to 3pm today and tomorrow.
Test drive units are also available for 10 models-BMW M850i xDrive, X5 xDrive40i, X7 xDrive40i, 740Le xDrive, 330i M Sport, 530e Sport, X3 xDrive30i Luxury, Mini Countryman plugin hybrid, Mini Cooper S 3 Door and Mini Countryman.
In a statement, BMW Group Malaysia said BMW x7 Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) is a new icon exemplifying the brand’s new definition of progressive luxury.
BMW Group Malaysia head of Corporate Communications Sashi Ambi said modern and progressive luxury has been the driving force in BMW Group.
“The First-Ever BMW X7 is a demonstration of our philosophy on the automotive luxury segment. Vehicles that are created with pure craftsmanship and fine details, embodying game changing innovation and exuding sheer driving presence on the road.
“The BMW X models are some of the most recognised models of the BMW portfolio with over five million units delivered worldwide since its introduction.
“In Malaysia, BMW X vehicles accounted for more than 5,000 units of BMW vehicles delivered nationwide in 2018.
“Designed for game-changing innovations, benchmarking comfort and contemporary design with modern dynamic, the First-Ever BMW X7 displays progressive flair in the current family of luxury BMW vehicles,” Ambi added.
Powering the luxury offroader is a six-cylinder in-line petrol engine with a maximum power of 250kW/ 340hp, and a peak torque of 450Nm.
The First-Ever BMW X7 is available in seven stunning colours of Mineral White, Black Sapphire, Artic Grey, Sophisto Grey, Phytonic Blue, Terra Brown and Vermont Bronze.
Meanwhile, The 8 (M850i xDrive) is the newest member in the premium automaker’s portfolio of luxury vehicles.
Developed on the race track to achieve supreme agility, precision and poise, the model combines powerful engine with BMW xDrive intelligent allwheel drive system and BMW efficient lightweight design measures ,introducing new benchmarks in the luxury coupe segment.
“The First Generation BMW 8 Series is ahead of its time in performance, innovation and luxury.Three decades on, we are bringing this luxurious sports coupe into the modern era to set standards for the future,” BMW Group Malaysia managing director Harald Hoelzl said in a statement.
The 8 is introduced in the BMW M85oi x Drive Coupe variant, boasting outstanding performance, emotion-stirring design, state-of-the-art luxury, exceptionally advanced equipment features when it comes to display and control technology, driver assistance and connectivity.
The exterior design of The 8 demonstrates a modern form of sporting appeal with a new styling language focusing on clarity, modernity and emotional engagement.
The car’s low-slung design, an elongated silhouette with a slim window graphic and a roofline flowing elegantly into the rear with distinctive ‘double-bubble’ contouring, a long wheelbase and wide track widths are the defining visual elements of the 8’s proportions.
The latest V8 engine with incredible power delivery and acoustics also debuts in the BMW M850i xDrive Coupe, serving prodigious power delivery and an equally impressive soundtrack, which is further enhanced by the flap-controlled sports exhaust system.
Also for the first time, The 8 features the BMW Digital Key which employs Near Filed Communication technology to allow the new luxury sports car to be locked and unlocked from a smartphone.
In terms of exterior colour offering, The 8 selection of Carbon Black metallic, Black Sapphire metallic, Sonic Speed Blue metallic, Barcelona Blue metallic, Sunset Orange metallic and Mineral White is matched with black, cognac or ivory white BMW individual Merino full leather trim sports seat.
With ‘Balloon Financing Plan’ from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, own BMW M850i xDrive Coupe with monthly instalment plans starting from RM12,418 ( based on estimates of an 80 per cent loan on a five-year tenure) and RM10,168 for BMW X7 xDrive40i Pure Excellence.
