Hotel Grand Continental comes up with ‘Rindu Manah Crazy Offer’
KUCHING: Hotel Grand Continental is now back in business with its operation complying with the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO).
In conjunction with the resumption of its operation, the hotel has come up with an offer known as ‘Rindu Manah Crazy Offer (RMCO)’ to spread “warmth and friendliness” during this movement restriction period.
“As the hotel business starts to pick up, the management and staff at Hotel Grand Continental Kuching are strictly following the guidelines and protocols required by the Ministry of Health (MoH) during the RMCO to combat Covid-19,” Grand Continental Hotel business development manager Evelyn Anek told reporters at the hotel yesterday.
Evelyn also said that the health protocols include social distancing, sanitising of frequently touched areas and the requirement for all hotel frontline staff to wear protective gear like face mask and hand glove when serving guests.
Apart from that, she added, body temperature and personal details of all guests and vendors are taken before they are allowed to enter the hotel.
“All meals offered are individually packed in keeping with the current RMCO standard operating procedure (SOP) guidelines set forth by the MoH. Guests are also recommended to use their smart phone to scan the ‘ mycovidtrack.com’ and ‘ My Sejahtera’ application,” she said.

Back’ Deluxe Room promotion at only RM 110 net per night inclusive of breakfast for one or two persons from now till Dec 31.
Room rates are also available for long term or just for a day’s stay.
In addition, the hotel provides food catering for customers who hold their meeting at their office, she said.
“Seminars (minimum 10 persons) can be arranged at the hotel or at the customer’s office. The rates are RM45 net per pax for two tea break sets, RM55 net per pax for one tea break and one lunch set and RM65 net per set for two tea breaks and one lunch set,” she said.
Value Meals at RM12 net per pack are also available for lunch and dinner.
Grand Continental Hotel also provides delivery of packed food subject to a minimum order for 10 persons and above, within 10km radius from the hotel,
“For the packed food, there are two choices - Set A at RM20 net per pax with three snack items and Set B at RM25 net per pax with four types of snack items. We also have packed food options for meetings,” said Evelyn, adding customers can choose from the Chinese, Indian, Malay or local cuisine nu.
