Kenanga IB Appoints Tan Sri Syed Anwar Jamalullail as chairman
KUCHING: Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd (Kenanga IB) announced the appointment of its new Chairman, Tan Sri Syed Zainol Anwar Ibni Syed Putra Jamalullail effective immediately, succeeding Izlan Izhab.

Syed Anwar Jamalullail is also currently the chairman of Nestle ( Malaysia) Bhd and the chairman of its Nomination and Compensation Committee and a member of its Audit Committee.
He is also the Chairman of SP Setia Bhd and chairman of its Nomination and Remuneration Committee, as well as the
Chairman of Lembaga Zakat Selangor and the Chancellor of SEGi University.
He was formerly the Chairman of Cahya Mata Sarawak Bhd, EON Bank Bhd, Uni Asia Life Assurance Bhd, Uni Asia General Insurance Bhd, DRB-Hicom Bhd, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd, Malakoff Corporation Bhd, Media Prima Bhd, Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd, Lembaga Tabung Haji’s Investment Panel, Pulau Indah Ventures Sdn Bhd.
He was also the former executive chairman of Realmild ( M) Sdn Bhd and Radicare ( M)
Sdn Bhd. Syed Anwar also served as an independent director of Maxis Communications Bhd and Bangkok Bank Bhd.
