UP IN FLAMES

This aerial image shows smoke and flames rising into the air as a fire broke out and destroyed a number of traditional wooden boats belonging to fishermen in the harbour in Tegal on Jan 29. The police on Sunday are in the process of evacuating 13 burning boats so as to prevent the fire from spreading to other boats. Hundreds of boats were piled up at the harbour as the fishermen await permission to go to sea, Tegal City police said.
