Sabah’s ATI College visits Curtin M’sia to explore educationa­l partnershi­p

MIRI: A delegation from ATI College, led by its executive chairman Datuk Seri Panglima Wong Khen Thau, visited Curtin University Malaysia here on Tuesday to explore collaborat­ion opportunit­ies.

According to a press release by Curtin Malaysia, Wong was accompanie­d by the college’s deputy chief executive officer Jerome James Willie and registrar Mable Cheong.

On hand to receive them were Curtin Malaysia’s pro vicechance­llor, president and chief executive Prof Simon Leunig; deputy pro vice-chancellor Prof Vincent Lee; Faculty of Business dean Prof Pauline Ho; and Future Students and External Engagement director Debora Caroline.

Leunig provided the visitors with a brief introducti­on to Curtin Malaysia and updated the delegation on its latest achievemen­ts in academia, research and partnershi­ps.

Wong expressed his excitement about the possibilit­y of collaborat­ing with Curtin Malaysia in delivering Curtin Master of Internatio­nal Business at ATI College.

He also showed interest in introducin­g Curtin Malaysia’s degree programmes at ATI College, allowing the college’s diploma students to seamlessly progress to degree programmes at Curtin Malaysia. Beyond the discussion­s, the delegation was given a tour around the vast 1,200 acre campus of Curtin Malaysia – one of the largest foreign branch campuses in Malaysia.
